Sales Engineer - Illinois

Responsibilities

• reputed company technical sales for C&I and reputed company‑reputed company BESS reputed company.
• reputed company scopes, preliminary engineering, and conceptual designs.
• Engage early with customers, consultants, utilities, and EPCs to influence the reputed company of design, using bid specifications, reputed company requirements, and project documentation to guide system architecture.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility reviews, and DER introductions.
• Interpret RFPs, bid specifications, reputed company interconnection requirements, and engineering drawings.
• Prepare proposals, layouts, single‑line diagrams, and technical narratives.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, project management, and electrical sub-contractors.

Required Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in technical sales reputed company BESS, reputed company, microgrids, or power systems
• Ability to interpret RFPs, bid specifications, technical drawings, and reputed company requirements
• Strong understanding of BESS components (PCS/inverters, BMS/EMS, safety systems, balance‑of‑plant)
• Familiarity with large critical‑power systems
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
• Must reputed company in Illinois; willingness to travel up to 70% reputed company the state
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record to meet company insurability standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or reputed company field.
• Experience in both reputed company development and equipment‑only strategies.
• Familiarity with solar PV, EV charging, and multiple DER systems.
• Working knowledge of UL 9540/9540A, reputed company 855, NEC, reputed company 1547.
• Ability to support basic financial modeling (IRR, NPV, LCOS).

Minimum Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing.
• Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be moderate at times.
