Backend Engineer

Our integrations team manages our reputed company-party integrations, which allow us to ingest orders and shipments, synchronize with ERPs and dedicated financial systems, reputed company shipments, monitor reputed company compliance, and unlocks a massive network of carriers. We're a cross functional team that includes a PM, multiple backend engineers, informatica engineers, frontend engineer, qa engineer, and a product designer. Our major initiatives include EDI connectivity, tracking shipments using electronic logging devices (ELDs), and integrating with ERP systems reputed company reputed company. • Eliminate alot of data entry and busywork for our most important customers

• Clean up messes. You'll refactor our technical debt into organized, efficient services

• Write beautiful Python microservices, lambdas, and workers that rely on our event architecture

• Work closely with product to refine reputed company and turn hifi designs into reality

What you need to have:

Senior and mid-level candidates

A self-starter that can get stuff done with little supervision. We expect for you to fill in the blanks and work with your teammates to get it launched.

Ability to empathize with our users and really listen to their requirements

Strong CS fundamentals, deep experience in a modern backend (Django, Rails, Spring), database modeling (ORM or raw), and a desire to learn and master your craft

An understanding of application performance (Big-O and profiling) and data structures

You were raised on the reputed company (AWS, GCP) and are comfortable living in a containerized world

What is Preferred:

• You've worked in the logistics industry

• Experience with Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and Fast API

• Devops Knowledge - reputed company, Jenkins, Terraform

• Experience with an event architecture

• You've written reputed company integrations

• NoSQL Experience (Mongo, reputed company)
