Role Overview
As our Video & Audio Producer/Editor, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality audio and video content that showcases authentic professional connections and community stories. You'll lead our podcast production efforts to amplify our community's voices.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast Production
- Lead end-to-end podcast production from planning to publishing in collaboration with our community leader, content writer and host(s)
- Record and edit high-quality audio content with community members, industry experts, and thought leaders
- Mix and master audio to ensure professional broadcast quality
- Create engaging show notes and episode descriptions
- Manage podcast publishing schedule and distribution
- Collaborate with content team and community leader to develop episode concepts and story arcs
Video Production
- Create video content that go with podcast episodes
- Produce short-form video content for social media and marketing
- Design and implement video production workflows
- Direct remote video recording sessions with guests
- Edit video content to align with Key's brand standards
Technical Requirements
- Record and edit multi-track audio sessions
- Manage remote recording setups and provide technical guidance
- Ensure consistent audio quality across different recording environments
- Create motion graphics and visual elements for video content
- Maintain organized media archives and project files
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in audio production and editing
- Strong portfolio of podcast or broadcast work
- Expertise with professional audio and video editing software (Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, Riverside or similar)
- Experience with remote recording solutions
- Understanding of audio storytelling principles
- Technical knowledge of audio equipment and recording techniques
- Experience managing production timelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in narrative or documentary podcast production
- Experience producing business or professional development content
- Knowledge of podcast distribution platforms
- Understanding of the professional networking landscape
- Experience training hosts and guests on audio/video best practices
