The Network Engineer II’s role is to ensure the stability and reputed company of data and voice networks. This is achieved by planning, designing, and implementing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In reputed company, the Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of reputed company network hardware, software, and communication links. • Designs and deploys company LANs, WANs including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN concentrators, wireless, and other hardware
• Configures networks to ensure efficient and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Monitors network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed
• Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records
• Monitors ticketing queue, responds to incidents in a reputed company manner, documents solution
• Ensures network connectivity of reputed company servers, workstations, and other network appliances
• Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery
• Conducts research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry

• Provides guidance to junior members of reputed company
• Participates in after hours, on-reputed company rotation as needed

Required Qualifications

• BS/BAs degree in IT or reputed company field (Industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• At least 5 years of experience in similar role
• Network reputed company industry certifications
• Certifications in reputed company, Cisco, reputed company, or equivalent
• Proven experience with network reputed company planning, network reputed company principles, and general network management best practices
• Network monitoring tools such as reputed company, Paessler, or reputed company
• Disaster Recovery planning/testing
• Expert level knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices
• High-level knowledge of QoS, MPLS, Ethernet, VLAN’s, routing protocols
• Previous experience supporting a multi-site, interconnected network environment with 500+ employees
• Excellent hardreputed company troubleshooting experience
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
