IT Manager, Transportation Applications (remote)

The Position: 

The IT Manager, Transportation Applications, reporting to the Director of IT Workplace Technology Support, oversees reputed company’s transportation and logistics systems, including applications, automations, integrations, and ongoing development. This role manages vendor relationships and the internal transportation development team while partnering with the transportation department to plan, implement, optimize, and maintain transportation technology, reputed company, and system requirements.

This position works Monday through Friday, from reputed company-5pm.

The compensation reputed company for this position is $120K-$140K, depending on experience.

Your Day-to-Day:

• reputed company Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and reputed company logistics platforms, including parcel shipping, reverse logistics applications, and integrations.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure high reputed company of service, responsiveness, and business support.

• reputed company the Transportation Development team’s Service Desk queue, ensuring SLA compliance, issue communication, and reputed company escalation.
• Ensure reputed company, accurate reputed company of issues with appropriate documentation in IT Service Desk tools.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in:
  • ProShip parcel systems, reputed company shopping, label requirements, reputed company integrations, and returns processing
  • Transportation regulations and compliance standards

• Ensure documentation and technical specifications meet departmental standards.
• Partner with internal teams to improve existing systems and reputed company new processes.
• Define, monitor, and communicate KPIs for transportation technology initiatives.
• Recruit, reputed company, reputed company, and retain high-performing team members through coaching, mentoring, and career development planning.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, reputed company reputed company feedback, and address performance issues in alignment with company policies.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or reputed company field required.  8+ years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Eight (8)&reputed company; Ten (10) years of experience in IT, transportation technology, or 3PL environments including a minimum of Three (3) years of leadership experience.
• Experience with transportation and logistics software platforms deployed in reputed company environments (AWS or similar).
• Hands-on experience with software development methodologies.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to challenge existing processes and drive transformation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, reputed company to translate reputed company concepts into terms and format appropriate for the audience.
