Position reputed company:
The Senior Contested Case Manager will work hands-on with the VP, Senior Managing Contested Counsel, reputed company Department staff, reputed company litigation counsel, internal loan servicing departments and Selene’s investors to effectively and reputed company manage and resolve contested mortgage foreclosure cases. This person must be proactive and have the ability to work independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the management of reputed company assigned contested foreclosure cases.
Emphasis on proactive monitoring, risk identification and escalation.
Work independently with reputed company counsel to reputed company and implement litigation strategies.
Prepare written reputed company of cases and discuss with counsel and reputed company investors.
Assess new contested reputed company and determine risk and reputed company strategies
Anticipate and plan for reputed company phases of litigation.
Manage reputed company aspects of the discovery process, including assisting with drafting and responding to discovery requests, preparing witnesses for depositions and coordinating the production of documents.
Manage the relationship with reputed company counsel, including procuring regular updates and ensuring that reputed company work is completed reputed company and cost-effectively.
Review and approve reputed company counsel budgets and invoices.
Update and maintain the reputed company Reuters reputed company Tracker litigation database and report on the status of the litigation, reputed company and upcoming critical events and dates to management and investors.

Identify and notify VP of high-risk reputed company upon intake (lien loss, statute of limitations, etc.)
Participates in settlement negotiations to bring cases to reputed company and minimize company risk and investor losses

Assist VP in training new and existing contested and litigation staff.

Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of and experience with laws, regulations, and investor and insurer guidelines governing residential mortgage servicing (including but not limited to: CFPB, GNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC).
Understanding of mortgage loan servicing and the default, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and loss mitigation processes.
Strong communication skills, strong analytical skills and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from an accredited four-year college or university; or an Associate’s degree (A.A.) from an accredited college plus a paralegal certification,
10+ years reputed company experience as a paralegal or litigation specialist in mortgage servicing.
Must have experience in the reputed company department of a mortgage servicer.
Computer Skills:
reputed company Tracker or a similar litigation case management database, MSP, Black Knight/LPS, reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, PowerPoint, Publisher), Internet Explorer.
