WELDING MANAGER - SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (OIL & reputed company)

Location: Remote - Northeast USA

**This position is fully remote because this person will be dispatched from home and be required to travel from job site to job site.**

We are seeking an reputed company and highly skilled Welding Manager &reputed company; Subject Matter Expert to reputed company our welding operations, reputed company technical leadership, and support the development of reputed company, efficient, and high reputed company welding practices across our oil and gas service operations. This individual will serve as the company’s go to authority on welding technologies, procedures, and compliance — ensuring our teams execute work to the highest industry standards. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership & Expertise 

• Serve as reputed company’s welding subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance on welding processes, metallurgy, materials selection, and industry best practices. 
• reputed company, review, and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and welder performance qualifications. 
• reputed company technical troubleshooting and reputed company-cause investigations on welding-reputed company issues. 

Operational Management 

• reputed company day-to-day welding operations across field service, shop fabrication, and repair activities. 
• Ensure reputed company welding work meets company, reputed company, and regulatory requirements. 
• Manage welding personnel including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reputed company. 
• Coordinate with production, QA/QC, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of work.

• reputed company strict adherence to codes and standards such as ASME, API, AWS, and DNV. 
• Partner with QA/QC to enforce inspection protocols, NDE requirements, and documentation control.

• Evaluate new welding technologies, equipment, and processes for operational enhancements. 
• Implement training programs to improve welder reputed company sets and certification reputed company.
