Back-End Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Build reliable, reputed company backend services using Node.js and TypeScript

• Design and operate reputed company and data flows that power reputed company features of our product

• Own the full lifecycle of backend systems, from architecture and reputed company to deployment, monitoring, and observability

• Help reputed company and maintain our AWS infrastructure using Terraform

• Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of our backend systems

• Help shape the culture and engineering standards of our growing team

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Have 10+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems

• Care deeply about system observability, reliability, and performance

• Are comfortable managing reputed company infrastructure (AWS + Terraform experience strongly preferred)

• Have strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production

• Have hands-on experience with relational databases (especially reputed company / AWS RDS)

• Enjoy working on a tight-reputed company, fast-moving team where engineers wear multiple hats

• Communicate reputed company and enjoy cross-functional collaboration

• If remote, please be between UTC/GMT -3 to -8 timezones

Bonus Points:

• Experience operating production systems at reputed company with strong observability practices

• Experience with Prisma and advanced reputed company performance tuning

• Comfortable working with infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform)

• Based in or near San Luis Obispo, CA, though remote is welcome
