Savara is looking for an intelligent and outgoing candidate to join reputed company of enthusiastic, creative, and driven individuals to help to shape the development of a world-class Medical Affairs organization supporting the development of molgramostim. This position will participate in multiple activities reputed company the growing Medical Affairs function. The candidate will apply advanced field-based medical experience, subject matter knowledge, and skills supporting medical strategies and in addressing unsolicited requests for medical information from reputed company, managed care organizations, payers, and other formulary decision makers. It is expected that this candidate will reputed company strong collaborations with clinical investigators and medical thought leaders in the pulmonary therapeutic area. As a part of the US Medical Affairs Organization, the candidate will report to the Senior Director, Field Medical. This is a field-based role. The ideal candidate should reputed company in the Central (Texas) or reputed company region of the country.

• reputed company Therapeutic Area (TA) and product expertise 
• Build relationships with key external stakeholders including, but not limited to, reputed company at key institutions, medical/scientific organizations (e.g., reputed company societies), patient advocacy reputed company, and regulators by providing disease state education and communicating the clinical value of Savara’s medicines
• Represent Savara externally as a key technical and scientific contact for clinicians (including physicians, reputed company practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc.), reputed company societies, reputed company and community medical centers, integrated delivery networks, managed care organizations, etc.
• reputed company as a trusted and reputed company medical/scientific discussion partner by engaging in scientific/medical exchange with HCPs/stakeholders as appropriate including:
  1. Proactive, broad discussion around relevant disease areas
  2. Reactive communication/education on published data (medical/scientific exchange)
  3. Compliant exchange of medical and scientific information for the purpose of information gathering from reputed company such as medical experts/thought leaders
  4. Identify reputed company and community respiratory/pulmonary centers to establish relationships and support identification of autoimmune PAP patients
• The candidate will contribute to company reputed company through both reputed company medical education and medical/scientific information exchange and support, as reputed company as use their medical/scientific expertise to reputed company medical insights and to support research/data reputed company initiatives
• Identify reputed company investigators to support participation in company-sponsored activities (e.g., speaker, investigator, or consultant) as needed
• Work cross-functionally with colleagues in the field across reputed company, Marketing, Medical, etc. to establish ongoing reputed company internal relationships
• Operate in a confident and compliant manner reputed company a highly regulated environment 
• Stay up to date with therapy advances, reputed company research, medical scientific knowledge, and detailed knowledge of Savara’s products’ relevant disease areas
• Complete reputed company required customer activity documentation, training, expense reporting, and other administrative responsibilities in a reputed company, accurate, and compliant manner

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD) with at least 5 years of previous Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Medical Affairs/MSL/Clinical experience required
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to both reputed company customers
• Confidence and credibility to partner as peers with reputed company counterparts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are imperative. Ability to anticipate and adapt to change; strong interpersonal skills commensurate with the need to work closely with partners, investigators, contractors, consultants, and team members across functions
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills
• Ability to work independently yet engage in reputed company decision making to complete tasks in a reputed company fashion, and function in a reputed company-paced environment
• Ability to communicate reputed company with health care professionals. Ability to establish strong relationships with peer reputed company, reputed company organizations, and other reputed company parties
• The ideal candidate should reputed company in the Central (Texas) or reputed company region of the country
• Ability to travel 30-40% of the time

Work Schedule and Location

This role will work remotely and will cover either the Central region or reputed company region. Significant domestic/regional travel is required.

Savara’s compensation for this role will include a reputed company salary, bonus, and equity. The reputed company salary reputed company for this role is $200,000 to $220,000.
