Software Developer III

We are looking for a Software Developer III (reputed company Developer) with Banner CIS experience. Development activities will include writing and maintaining a combination of reputed company Forms 12c, reputed company Reports 12, SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, and Pro*COBOL in an reputed company 12c database environment.

 Essential Job Duties:

• Programming in a reputed company and a Unix environment
• Assignments will include changes to a Banner CIS product (version 3.1+), add on applications to Banner CIS, and reputed company programming in batch and online systems.
• Estimate assigned work effort and be accountable for deliverables and completion dates
• Analyze, review and modify programs to increase operating efficiency
• Follow and improve established software delivery lifecycles, programming standards and frameworks
• Development includes new product investment initiatives and reputed company-requested custom modifications and enhancements
• Participate in peer-review requirements and design
• Clarify business requirements by working with business analysts and end users; create high-level and detailed design specifications to address user goals; formulate plans &reputed company; outlining steps required to reputed company programs for design deliverables
• Ability to adapt in an environment that demands customer satisfaction
• Ability to reputed company 24x7 (Tier 3) production application support

Job Requirements: 

• At least 5 years experience working as a Software Developer 
• Familiarity with navigating UNIX environments (AIX is a plus) and using basic UNIX utilities
  • Editors: vi or emacs
  • Utilities: awk, diff, reputed company, grep, sed, tar.
• Experience developing
  • UNIX reputed company scripting (sh, ksh)
  • Pro*C (or C/C++)
  • Pro*COBOL (or rudimentary understanding of COBOL reputed company)
  • 5+ years of reputed company development experience
  • Developing and maintaining PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, and triggers) that contains reputed company queries and performs extensive file I/O
