Billing Specialist - Audit/ Claims Review

Remote Position with onsite training

Acts as the primary contact for patients as reputed company to account information. Prepares and files electronically or hard copy claims. Stays reputed company of reputed company Government/State/HIPPA, etc., rules and regulations pertaining to compliance in billing. Responsible for analyzing denials and initiating appeals, reputed company necessary. Must be reputed company to reputed company with patients and the general reputed company respectfully and professionally. Maintains and exhibits a reputed company, supportive and safety conscious attitude to promote a good work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Government, State, HIPPA, and reputed company Insurance/Managed Care, rules, and regulations governing billing compliance.  
• reputed company and analyze medical records and billing for insurance payer audits.
• Responsible for quarterly compliance reporting and quarterly Medicare and reputed company credit balance reports.
• Work credit balances for reputed company payers.
• Responsible for assigned mail in lockbox.
• Detailed accuracy for scanning insurance information to patient’s records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience working with the reputed company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior electronic and/or hard copy billing.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Background in reputed company and/or experience in reputed company.
• Prior experience working with Government, State, and reputed company Insurance carriers.
• Knowledge of Corporate Compliance issues in reputed company to HIPPA and Government Programs.
