The role

Applications are invited for the position of Specialist in Respiratory Medicine (Fractional), for a 0.1 EFT (3.50 hours per week) position and will primarily involve telehealth to Bairnsdale.

The role provides clinical care to patients primarily reputed company Respiratory Medicine and is also reputed company reputed company in patient care, research and education.  The key objective is to reputed company continuity of general respiratory and sleep medicine care.

The incumbent may be required to assist in the development, implementation and audit of agreed management protocols and models of care consistent with international best reputed company standards across reputed company areas reputed company the Services, Department and with other reputed company disciplines in the context of reputed company reputed company knowledge and available resources.  The supervision of Hospital Medical Officers (HMOs), Registrars, Fellows, Locums and trainees in conjunction with the Clinical Service Head and Director may also be required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Appointees must be legally reputed company medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could reputed company on their clinical reputed company.

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

• Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Respiratory & Sleep Medicine.

• Meets Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of reputed company in Respiratory Medicine.

• Experience in teaching and an involvement in research are desirable.
