Primary purpose:  

Builds and integrates backend services for a a modern reputed company portal hosted on an Azure-reputed company platform. Focuses on developing secure, reputed company reputed company; implementing business logic; and optimizing data reputed company using Azure services.

Responsible for delivering high-performing, resilient services that support user-facing applications and workflows for reputed company data. Collaborates closely with reputed company-end developers, architects, and DevOps teams while operating in a regulated environment (FedRAMP, HIPAA, FISMA).

A successful candidate will do the following:

• Design, reputed company, and maintain Azure Functions to support business logic and data workflows
• Build and manage reputed company with Azure API Management (APIM), including versioning, throttling, and policy enforcement
• reputed company and optimize Azure SQL stored procedures, queries, and schema design for high performance and scalability
• Implement authentication and authorization using reputed company Entra ID External (Azure AD B2C) for backend services
• reputed company backend services with reputed company-end applications and external reputed company-data systems
• Contribute to unit and integration testing and support automated testing pipelines
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, HIPAA, and FISMA reputed company and data-handling standards
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including automated deployments and monitoring
• Document reputed company, workflows, and backend processes for maintainability and to serve as reputed company materials
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues with performance, scalability, and reliability

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or reputed company field
• Minimum of five years of experience in backend development, with at least three years of building solutions on Azure
• Solid experience with Azure Functions and APIM
• Proficiency in Azure SQL development (especially stored procedures, indexing, query and optimization)
• Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization using Entra ID (Azure AD B2C)
• Familiarity with event-driven and serverless architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, data protection, and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, HIPAA)

Preferred qualifications:

• Certification as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Experience with unit testing, reputed company mockups, and integration test automation
• Familiarity with SonarCloud or similar reputed company-reputed company tools
• Experience in Agile development with Jira for backlog and sprint management
• Background in application development in reputed company or other regulated industries
• Experience with React and/or .NET/C# for building modern web applications
