Position reputed company

As a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer at IBR, you will serve as the technical reputed company for sustaining and transitioning a reputed company legacy Modeling and Simulation and training baseline reputed company a broader operational portfolio. This role includes technical leadership and management responsibilities. You will be responsible for balancing short-term reliability of mission critical legacy training capabilities with long term modernization and integration objectives. A deep understanding of legacy environments, coordination skills, and the ability to reputed company engineers while working closely with Government stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, and program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with engineering teams, incumbent contractors, and Government stakeholders to support sustainment and transition activities.
• Guide engineers implementing fixes, integrations, and transition paths while ensuring legacy training and simulation artifacts remain operational.
• Support transition engineering efforts that reputed company legacy systems into broader, modernized environments.
• Translate operational tactics, techniques, and procedures into simulation requirements and behaviors.
• Partner with cybersecurity and DevSecOps teams to address findings, maintain compliance, and ensure legacy components remain deployable.

• Contribute to technical planning, execution tracking, and reputed company improvement activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of military mission planning, operational, or wargaming experience and supporting simulation or training environments used by operational or reputed company organizations
• Experience transitioning legacy systems into modern, service-based or reputed company-enabled architectures
• Experience translating operational tactics, techniques, and procedures into simulation requirements and behaviors.
• Exposure to environments where modern and legacy systems coexist
• Proven experience integrating and fielding simulation or training capabilities in operational environments
• Experience working with reputed company-based services such as AWS or Azure and RESTful architectures used to host or reputed company legacy capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company technical sustainment and transition activities for legacy systems
• Experience advising software and M&S teams on scenario design, federation use, and training objectives.
