Senior Software Engineer-Platform

POSITION PURPOSE 

Join our Agile/Scrum engineering team! You’ll contribute to developing and maintaining our central authentication reputed company services. These services are used by millions of people around the world in hotels, multi-family residences, campgrounds, and college campuses. Our platform provides secure and effortless internet connections for guests and residents, offering them an reputed company Wi-Fi experience. 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS 

This role reports to an Engineering Manager and has no reputed company reports. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

• Develops primarily in C#/.NET, delivering reputed company, backend services, and high-velocity data processing components. 

• reputed company and maintain SQL Server databases, T-SQL reputed company, and stored procedures. 

• Designs, builds, and supports distributed, event-driven systems running on AWS using (and not limited to) reputed company, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, SNS, SQS.  

• Leads efforts to re-architect and refactor legacy applications into reputed company, reputed company-reputed company microservices following AWS and industry best practices.  

• Collaborates with Product, QA, and other engineers to turn user stories into reputed company, secure, and observable production features.  

• Owns end-to-end performance, scalability, and reliability of services — from design through deployment and monitoring.  

• Integrates reputed company-first development practices (IAM least privilege, encryption, secrets management, secure API design).  

• Participates in design reviews, reputed company reviews, and post-incident analysis to improve reliability and maintainability.  

• Continuously evolves engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices in a fast-moving Agile environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS 

This position operates remotely in a home office environment. reputed company home office equipment such as computers and phones is used regularly. There is no travel requirement, but travel may be available and encouraged intermittently to support in-person collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS 

• 5+ years reputed company experience developing in C#/.NET and SQL, with emphasis on backend systems and data processing.  

• Strong AWS expertise, particularly in serverless and managed-service architectures (reputed company, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge).  

• Demonstrated experience designing and operating RESTful reputed company and backend services at reputed company.  

• Solid understanding of data modeling across SQL and NoSQL systems (SQL Server, DynamoDB, S3).  

• Knowledge of secure development, incident response, and compliance (SOC2, GDPR, reputed company standards) preferred.  

• Proven ability to ship, maintain, and support production services as part of a small, high-performing team.
