Graphic Designer

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-04-22
Set-up and Location: WFH / Remote (Philippines)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Australian Eastern Time (NSW / VIC / ACT / TAS)
Employment Type: Full-time

We're partnering with a dynamic Australian agency in the Marketing & Events industry, supporting high-profile campaigns, corporate events, and strategic brand storytelling. As they scale their creative output, they're looking for a versatile, deadline-driven Graphic Designer to join their offshore team and help manage overflow design work.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You'll be the go-to support for a small but busy creative team – turning briefs into polished assets, adapting concepts across formats, and ensuring every deliverable reflects the high standards their clients expect. Speed, accuracy, and brand consistency are non-negotiable.

The right fit:

You're a creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments. You don't just execute – you think ahead, ask clarifying questions, and take pride in delivering work that's on-brand, on-brief, and on-time. You're comfortable juggling multiple small projects, adapting quickly to feedback, and collaborating remotely with clarity and confidence. You own your workflow and never leave the team chasing updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Execution & Asset Creation
  • Create, adapt, and polish visual assets for both digital and print – including social media graphics, event collateral, presentations, email campaigns, brochures, and signage
  • Maintain strict brand consistency across all deliverables, adhering to style guides and client specifications
  • Support video and motion graphics tasks (basic editing, animations, lower thirds) as needed
  • Prepare print-ready files with correct bleeds, resolutions, and colour profiles; optimise digital assets for web and social platforms
Collaboration & Workflow Management
  • Partner remotely with the creative team to clarify briefs, align on priorities, and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines
  • Manage a dynamic queue of small-to-mid-sized projects simultaneously – prioritising effectively without constant supervision
  • Proactively flag capacity constraints, creative roadblocks, or timeline risks before they impact delivery
  • Participate in regular video check-ins – clear, professional English communication is essential
Quality Assurance & Brand Stewardship
  • Conduct self-reviews to catch errors in layout, typography, colour, or messaging before submission
  • Ensure all files are organised, properly named, and stored in shared drives per team protocols
  • Stay updated on design trends, platform specifications (e.g., social media dimensions), and accessibility best practices
  • Provide constructive input during creative reviews – open to feedback and focused on continuous improvement

Requirements

We're looking for someone who:
  • Has 3+ years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally within an agency, marketing, or events environment
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (After Effects or Premiere Pro is a strong plus)
  • Has a diverse portfolio showcasing versatility across digital, print, presentations, and event-related design
  • Can work independently with minimal direction while maintaining high standards of quality and brand alignment
  • Communicates proactively in clear, professional English – written and verbal – and asks questions early to avoid rework
  • Manages time effectively across multiple concurrent tasks and consistently meets deadlines without reminders
Education
  • A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field is highly desirable.
Preferred Certifications
  • Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) or equivalent
  • Formal training in motion graphics, video editing, or UX/UI principles (a strong advantage)
  • Willingness to upskill in emerging design tools or platforms as needed
Systems & Tools
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required; After Effects/Premiere Pro preferred)
  • Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace – for email, file sharing, and collaborative documentation
  • Cloud storage & project tools (e.g., Dropbox, WeTransfer, Trello, Asana) – comfort with remote workflows essential
  • Video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams) for daily syncs and creative reviews
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Actively listens to briefs and asks targeted clarifying questions before starting work
  • Presents design concepts clearly and accepts feedback with professionalism and adaptability
  • Maintains a solutions-focused, collaborative attitude – even during high-pressure deadlines
  • Keeps the creative lead informed on progress, delays, or resource needs without being prompted
Organisational & Time Management Skill
  • Plans and sequences tasks efficiently to manage overflow work without compromising quality
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail – catching typos, misalignments, or brand deviations pre-delivery
  • Adapts quickly to shifting priorities while keeping all stakeholders aligned
  • Maintains an organised, well-labelled digital workspace – no lost files, no version confusion

Benefits

  • HMO, Dental, and Life Insurance for you and one free dependent from day one (with the option to enroll additional dependents)
  • Paid Leaves: Birthday, Vacation, Medical, and Maternity (up to 6 Vacation Leaves are convertible to cash on your anniversary)
  • Employee Engagement Activities: Year-End Party, Family Day, Team Building, and more!
  • Opportunity to work on diverse, high-visibility projects for a respected Australian agency
