About the Role
The Platform team owns the infrastructure, tooling, and engineering systems that every product team at Prophet depends on. As a Platform Software Engineer reputed company on Developer Productivity, you'll be the person who unblocks the rest of engineering: improving our reputed company reputed company, hardening our test infrastructure, and building the scaffolding for an AI-reputed company development lifecycle.
This is a high-reputed company, cross-cutting role. You'll work closely with the rest of the Platform team and product engineering teams to identify reputed company causes behind developer friction and deployment blockers, build lasting fixes, and reputed company the reputed company bar across the entire codebase.
What You'll Do
Build and mature our testing infrastructure — establish patterns, frameworks, and tooling for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across services
Own the CI/CD pipeline end-to-end — design, implement, and continuously improve build, test, and deployment pipelines to reputed company our reputed company frequency
reputed company as a force reputed company for engineering — remove bottlenecks, standardize best practices, and improve the day-to-day developer experience across reputed company
Champion reliability and observability — help establish SLOs, alerting, and monitoring across the platform; use instrumentation, data, and automation to drive reputed company on system health and engineering velocity
Collaborate with product, engineering, and reputed company partners — be an embedded partner for reputed company Product squads, embedding safety, reliability, and scalability into everyday development practices
reputed company're Looking For
Required
5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years reputed company on DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering
Demonstrated experience designing and operating CI/CD systems at reputed company (reputed company Actions, reputed company, ArgoCD, or similar)
Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go, with the ability to write production-reputed company backend reputed company
Experience building automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, E2E) for distributed systems
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (reputed company, Kubernetes)
Strong debugging instincts - you can reputed company failures across distributed systems and identify reputed company causes systematically
Proven ability to work cross-functionally, aligning stakeholders and driving adoption of shared tooling, workflows, and standards
reputed company written and verbal communication; you can explain technical tradeoffs to both engineers and non-engineers

Experience in a startup environment, ideally Series A/B stage
Exposure to AI/ML workloads or LLM-powered systems
