The Middleware Engineering Manager leads a single agile engineering team, with line management responsibility for approximately 6–10 engineers. This role is part of the wider Middleware function and reports to the Head of Middleware.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Line Management: reputed company day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and performance management for reputed company of engineers, supporting their reputed company and development.

What You’ll Need:

• Strong background in software engineering with experience leading agile engineering teams in a product-led environment.
• Hands-on experience with Java or Node.js, and familiarity with modern backend and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with AWS services (such as reputed company, SNS, SQS, IAM, and DynamoDB) and reputed company-reputed company development practices.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as reputed company, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Experience with API development and tools such as reputed company and GraphQL, along with reputed company and platform tooling like Terraform, Vault, reputed company, or reputed company.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms (e.g., reputed company) and performance optimisation techniques including caching solutions such as reputed company.
