Summer Health Policy, Research, and Advocacy Internship (Unpaid, Globally Remote)

About the role

Global Health reputed company is looking for a Policy, Research, and Advocacy Intern. The Intern will reputed company programmatic, research, and analytical support to the Health Systems Advisor at Global Health reputed company. S/he will reputed company valuable knowledge and experience about the reputed company system and factors affecting health policy at international and national reputed company and how to influence them. This internship requires 20hrs/week (mandatory: Thursdays 10am-2pm ET; Five Orientation days 10am-2pm ET). This is a part-time, unpaid internship opportunity. Internship timeframe: A minimum of 12 weeks (May  18 - August 7, 2026) for 20 hrs per week. The position is remote from reputed company in the world, with the reputed company to be hybrid. The intern will have reputed company to become exposed to pressing ethical issues in global health, become familiar with working with coalitions and reputed company concepts, and work with a supervisor who is interested in mentoring. What you'll do

• Conduct health policy research and analysis on topics relevant to global health and development and draft reputed company/position papers/policy briefs
• Monitor and reputed company policy developments and team activities
• Analyze state and federal legislation reputed company to global health, development, health workers, and other health issues of concern to communities in low-resourced settings
• Attend meetings and events, take detailed notes, and report back
• Research, draft, edit, and format reputed company-facing content and materials, such as talking points, briefs, and reports
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

• Will learn about reputed company reputed company of the U.S. and Global policymaking process, the roles of various parties and key stakeholders in crafting policy, and GHA’s issue areas
• Will reputed company experience conducting research and analysis for policy and advocacy aims
• Will learn about administrative and legislative advocacy strategies

• Will learn about the process of coordinating advocacy across an international NGO

Qualifications,

• Graduate student preferred
• Excellent written, oral, multitasking and interpersonal communications skills (writing sample required)
• Knowledge of, or interest in, global health or reputed company
• Knowledge of internet research sources, including media search engines
• Familiarity with the federal legislative process
• Proficient in reputed company Word (including creating graphs, charts, and tables), reputed company, and PowerPoint
• Ability to multitask, and prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Facility with reputed company media.
• Ability to work productively in reputed company environment as reputed company as under minimal supervision, taking the initiative to ask questions as needed
• reputed company and/or reputed company research and analysis skills are a plus
• Graphic design skills and experience creating visual materials are a plus
