Walker Coach (Seasonal, Full-Time)

About the position The Out of the Darkness Walk Coach is the front-line customer relations representative for the Out of the Darkness Walk series, and is responsible for meeting and exceeding recruitment, retention, and fundraising goals. The Walker Coach works under the supervision of the Manager of the Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk. Responsibilities • Work closely with Out of the Darkness walk participants to increase fundraising and retention outcomes by providing excellent customer service, and technical, fundraising, training, and event support • Conduct sales communications with the goal of converting leads (RFIs) to walk The Overnight using designated sales procedures and protocols • Host fundraising workshops and informational meetings (via phone, webinar, and in-person) • Oversees all Overnight Training Walks • Assist in logistics to help walk events run smoothly from start to finish • Assist the Out of the Darkness Community Walks and Walks team to increase fundraising and retention outcomes by providing excellent customer service, and technical, fundraising, training, and event support • Performs other duties as assigned Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel), Google Drive Suite, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database systems • Comfortable conducting internet research • Basic HTML & web editing • Uphold and exhibit the agency’s Core Values. • Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings. • Ability to work a full-time schedule and have regular attendance at the workplace. • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Demonstrated leadership, customer service, project management, and sales abilities • Highly organized and detail oriented • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Flexible and easily adaptable to change Nice-to-haves • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
