SEO Team Lead (Remote)

As an SEO Team Lead, you will drive the strategic direction of SEO initiatives within the Marketing team, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes. This role plays a critical part in elevating SEO performance through data-driven insights, strong stakeholder communication, and team mentorship. You will bridge execution and strategy while developing team capabilities and delivering impactful results.  

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead and execute SEO strategies aligned with business priorities and growth targets
• Translate SEO data into clear, actionable insights and monthly reports
• Oversee keyword strategy, content optimization, and technical SEO initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders (content, product, analytics) to drive results
• Align SEO roadmap with company objectives (e.g., high-impact pages and campaigns)
• Mentor and guide team members through coaching and knowledge sharing
• Ensure consistent reporting and performance tracking using analytics tools
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and SEO innovation
• Proactively resolve issues and remove blockers for the team
• Lead regular syncs and strategy discussions with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or mentoring role
• Strong expertise in SEO strategy, technical SEO, and content optimization
• Proven ability to translate data into insights and business recommendations
• Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work based on business impact
