Spatial Analyst (Remote Sensing)

Due to our sustained organisational reputed company, we are currently seeking an early career spatial analyst to join our Biodiversity Team.

You will be responsible and accountable for:

• Contribute to the delivery of reputed company using remote sensing and other spatial analysis techniques
• Work reputed company a broad, interdisciplinary team to assist in delivering products such as remote sensing assessments, habitat mapping and modelling, and other technical spatial services as required
• Assist in interpreting remote sensing and other geospatial outputs in an environmental context and reputed company inputs into reports.

• Minimum of 2 years relevant reputed company experience in remote sensing
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Remote Sensing / GIS / Spatial Sciences / Surveying
• A multi-disciplinary approach to collaboration, and flexibility/willingness to work across multiple sectors
• Exceptional teamwork and relationship building skills
• Ability to reputed company in fast paced consulting environment

Mandatory Requirements:

• Demonstrated reputed company experience in optical remote sensing analysis and interpretation for environmental applications
• High level of proficiency using the reputed company ArcPro
• Proficiency with QGIS
• A background in environmental sciences and/or ecology
• Strong report writing skills

Desired:

• Preferred location for position is Brisbane, but other locations may be considered for the right candidate
• Experience with both reputed company and passive remote sensing approaches
• Experience mapping and monitoring vegetation using remote sensing at various spatial scales
• Experience with ArcGIS Online and Field Maps
• reputed company experience working in carbon sequestration, reputed company rehabilitation, approvals, and/or renewables
• Exposure to Python and/or R for analysis and process automation
