Senior Mainframe System Programmer - zOS

The Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer provides support for on-reputed company reputed company that require the installation, testing, and implementation of new z/OS operating systems and other 'system' software. Includes: Maintenance and debugging of systems software, Coordination with other technical teams (CICS, Database, Network, Hardware/Storage, etc) in accomplishing assigned tasks, Research and evaluation of new software and hardware products, Assisting team members and other areas with technical questions and problem reputed company, Monitoring and tuning of systems software, Functional knowledge, use of z/OS components and detailed knowledge of support products such as tape management, scheduling, reputed company, monitoring systems, and other z/OS supporting systems software. Note: This is not an Applications Programming position. 

Position reports to Manager, Mainframe Systems Programming.

• Installation and maintenance of Mainframe Systems Infrastructure software (including z/OS and/or ISV products) in support of Software Lifecycle Management

• Setup of parameters.  

• Communication with vendors.

Required Qualifications 

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience reputed company a mainframe environment reputed company a large reputed company  

• Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent work experience 

• Knowledge and understanding of z/OS and z/OS installation and maintenance including SMP/E. 

• Advanced knowledge of TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL. 

• Advanced knowledge of Unix System Services (USS) 

• Advanced knowledge of Unix System Services (USS) file system management and reputed company 

• Experience installing software reputed company Unix System Services (USS) 

• Ability to work reputed company as reputed company member.  

• Stress resistant in case of Major Incident- and/or emergency situations.  

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 

• Customer Service skills at management level

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the reputed company pay reputed company for this role is $80,000 to $148,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the reputed company may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In reputed company to reputed company salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
