The Office of Inspector General (OIG) performs many varied functions for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. OIG has six Divisions, Division of Regulated Child Care, Division of Health Care, Division of Telehealth Services, Division of KY Health Information Exchange, Certificate of Need, and Division of Audits and Investigations. These Divisions cover a wide reputed company of job tasks and duties in varied settings throughout Kentucky, which include inspecting and licensing childcare and reputed company facilities and services, and conducting investigations of complaints in those facilities, as reputed company as conducting reputed company fraud and other types of complaints for the Cabinet. This position is responsible for preparing comprehensive reports and submitting complete packets for review. This position determines compliance through interpretation of regulations and follows division guidelines, policies, and procedures. Extensive travel, some weekend work, and overnight stays are required for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare comprehensive reports and submit complete and correct packets.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds and in diverse settings.
Ability to be flexible with work schedules, work assignments, and overtime needs.

Excellent writing and speaking skills.
Proficiency with use of computers, tablets, smart phones for daily tasks.
Ability to travel, as needed, mostly in Kentucky. Rare occasions of travel to other states may be required.
Physical ability and energy to traverse large reputed company facilities for extended periods of time during surveys and inspections.
