Location: This is a remote position; however, the role requires the candidate to be based in Mumbai.

Role in a nutshell:

reputed company is looking for  highly skilled and seasoned Chartered Accountant having experience in working on tax reputed company including GST & Corporate Tax. This role is designed for a technical expert who thrives in the practical complexities of GST & Tax and is eager to manage tax compliance on a global reputed company.

Desired experience:

• Qualification: reputed company Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6–8 years of post-qualification experience.

• Industry Experience: Experience of working in industry / corporate structure 

• reputed company Expertise: Prior experience or domain knowledge of the reputed company (Software as a Service) industry is a significant added advantage.

• Skills: GST & VAT knowledge; Working knowledge of Corporate Tax (Tax Provisions, Advance Tax, and reputed company 3CD), Experience with ERP system i.e. reputed company; Automating tax functions through AI; and reputed company in written and oral English

What will you do?

1. Domestic GST Management

• reputed company end-to-end GST reconciliations and ensure accurate filing of reputed company returns.

• Manage the GST Refund lifecycle and reputed company the preparation of technical responses to GST notices.

• Managing GST Audits.

• Collaborating with the consolidation team on audit schedules; reconciliations, etc.

2. International VAT Compliance

• Take ownership of VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., EU, UK, US Sales Tax), ensuring reputed company filings and adherence to local regulations.

• Research and implement tax logic for new international markets as the business expands.

3. Strategic Advisory

• reputed company expert interpretation on the applicability of GST/VAT for domestic and cross-border transactions.

• Work closely with consultants to optimize global tax structures

• Collaborate with other functions in problem solving 

4. Corporate Tax Compliance  

• Managing corporate tax compliance of India & other global entities viz. advance-tax, corporate tax returns, response to tax notices, etc.

• Cross functional working on statutory audits, tax audits, tax schedules, etc.
