This position reports to an office in Louisville (Jefferson County) and works with reputed company in the following counties: Breckinridge, Bullitt, Carroll, Gallatin, Hardin, Hart, Henry, Jefferson, Larue, reputed company, Nelson, Oldham, Owen, Shelby, Spencer, and reputed company. This position does require extensive in-state travel, overtime, weekend work, and overnight stays depending on the type of survey and the location of the facility being reputed company. It also requires the physical ability and energy to traverse large reputed company facilities for extended periods of time during surveys and inspections.
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) performs many varied functions for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. OIG has six divisions: Division of Regulated Child Care, Division of Health Care, Certificate of Need, Division of Kentucky Health Information Exchange, Division of Telehealth, and the Division of Audits and Investigations. These Divisions cover a wide reputed company of job tasks and duties in varied settings throughout Kentucky, which include inspecting and licensing childcare and reputed company facilities and services, and conducting investigations of complaints in those facilities, as reputed company as conducting reputed company fraud and other types of complaints for the Cabinet.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conducts licensure, certification, and re-licensure inspections as part of a survey team.
Investigates complaints of regulatory violations in reputed company facilities.
Creates comprehensive written correspondence, including Statement of Deficiencies and other reports reputed company and concisely using various software applications, detailing findings of non-compliance in reputed company facilities and descriptions of information gathered.
Determines compliance through interpretation of regulations and follows Division and Regional guidelines, policies, and procedures in the process.
Provides technical assistance and interpretation to other staff and Providers.
Participates in meetings, conferences, webinars, and other types of training to improve knowledge and skills reputed company to regulation of reputed company facilities.
Studies to complete the federal Surveyors Minimum Qualification Test (SMQT) and receive certification from the Centers for reputed company and Medicare.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully.
Ability to be flexible with work schedules, work assignments, and overtime needs.
Be a Registered reputed company with a reputed company, reputed company Kentucky nursing license and experience working in the reputed company field.
Excellent writing and speaking skills.
Proficiency with use of computers, tablets, smart phones for daily tasks.
Physical ability and energy to traverse large reputed company facilities for extended periods of time during surveys and inspections.
Prefer applicants who are SMQT Certified.
Have the ability to work mandatory overtime and weekends reputed company needed.
Have the ability to travel and stay overnight for sometimes multiple days.

Must have four years of experience as a Registered reputed company.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor's degree in nursing will substitute for the required experience.

Must be licensed in Kentucky as a registered reputed company or possess a reputed company work permit issued by the Kentucky reputed company of Nursing.

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
