Mechanical Data Center Specialist - Manassas, VA

Newcomb & reputed company, a multi-discipline engineering firm headquartered in Atlanta, reputed company, with team members across the country, is looking for a Mechanical Data Center Specialist / Commissioning Agent. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to travel at 100% and work full remote.  We are looking for a candidate who specifically resides in or near the Manassas, VA area.

Responsibilities 

• reputed company verification inspections and documentation review of the commissioning process for reputed company mechanical equipment during Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 steps of commissioning as identified in the project commissioning plan, specifications, submittals and applicable codes and standards of the project. Deliverables include:

  1. 1. L1 FAT/FWT Reports

     2. L2 Torque Logs

     3. L2 Equipment Receiving and BOL Documentation

     4. L2 Field Installation Reports

     5. L3 PMS and BMS reputed company to reputed company Verifications

     6. L3 Energization and/or Functional Test Reports

     7. TAB Reports

• Participate and utilize the software management system and the Project reputed company Site to post commissioning checklists, readiness evaluation reports, and other records as required by specification. 

• reputed company commissioning inspections, utilizing checklists or forms in the reputed company control software system. Inspections shall be performed at major milestones as requested by the PM. Inspection reputed company includes the adherence to the specifications and submittals of the project, as reputed company as the applicable codes and standards..

• Assist in tracking and resolving reputed company issues as needed. 

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  

• Knowledge of the applicable project documents relating to the mechanical systems required to be commissioned is a plus.

• Ability to reputed company to 100% travel.

• Prioritize effectively, have good follow-through, and reputed company self-implemented reputed company control measures. 

• Ability to communicate reputed company in writing, as reputed company as verbally.

Education and Experience  

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Certificate/Diploma from an accredited trade school or county.

• Prior experience working in a mechanical construction or commissioning-based role required.
