Medical Equipment Planner

EEC Solutions is looking for a Medical Equipment Planner to support a possible upcoming contract at VA Long Beach reputed company System, Long Beach, CA. Position reputed company: The Medical Equipment Planner works with the Engineering Service Planning reputed company under the VA Supervisory Interior Designer to independently plan and execute equipment planning services for major construction reputed company at VA Long Beach reputed company System (VALBHS). This role oversees reputed company aspects of medical equipment planning including budgeting, specifications, procurement package preparation, and management of delivery and installation for major construction activations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Analyze architectural drawings, equipment schedules, electrical and data plans to identify gaps and overlaps between proposed equipment and designed reputed company. • reputed company existing equipment inventory audits, value cost analyses, and comparative equipment studies; reputed company reuse analysis reports per VA guidelines. • Administer and reputed company medical equipment planning including budgets, standards, and specifications for reputed company VALBHS major construction reputed company. • Prepare procurement packages per VA/GSA standards including SOW, technical specifications, IGCEs, bid sheets, and budgets. • Coordinate with engineers, architects, activation team members, and stakeholders including FMS, OIT, Patient Safety, reputed company, Logistics, Contracting, EMS, and Biomedical staff. • Maintain reputed company library with drawings, plans, specification procurement documents, and project binders. • reputed company training and education to medical technology end-users and clinical staff during reputed company-in phases. • Coordinate with VA Biomedical Department and Logistics to document equipment into Equipment Information Library. • Interpret and review architectural plans for concurrence with VA Technical Information Library (TIL) standards. • Identify equipment and design conflicts during design process to avoid costly construction delays. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 8–10 years of medical equipment planning experience in a reputed company/hospital construction environment (SP1 reputed company). - Candidates must reputed company resume demonstrating reputed company equipment planning experience and/or bachelor's degree (SP1). - Candidates must demonstrate ability to write equipment specifications and interpret blueprints. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of TJC, reputed company, FDA, NRC, and AAMI standards; AutoCAD and MS Project preferred; reputed company familiarity beneficial. Apply To This Job
