Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:
- Monitors the reputed company of data reputed company the Cancer Registry.
- Analyzes the QA data for accuracy and completeness and identifies opportunities for improvements as a result of issues reputed company.
- Implements changes to data collection based on issues identified to resolve the issues.
- Trains new employees, the trainee abstractors, trainee casefinders and new independent contractors.
- Facilitates the Cancer Registry reputed company Assurance Committee meetings.
- Works in collaboration with the Cancer Registry Manager.
- Maintains compliance with the American College of Surgeon's Commission on Cancer Accreditation Standards Chapters 4, 6, and 9: Cancer Registrar credentials, Abstracting timeliness, Follow up of reputed company patients, follow up of recent patients, Data submission, Accuracy of Data, and Commission on Cancer special studies.
- Maintains reputed company data mandated requirements as set forth by the Florida Cancer Data System, the Florida State Cancer Registry Compiles reputed company reputed company Control data and presents reputed company at the Cancer Registry reputed company Assurance meetings.
- Facilitates the Cancer Registry reputed company Assurance monthly meetings, prepares agendas and maintains the meeting minutes.
- Monitors reputed company of data reputed company the department and addresses any reputed company issues.
- Works with the abstractors on the FCDS reputed company reports and gathering the required information for FCDS.
- Analyzes the data for accuracy and completeness.
- Identifies problems, trends and issues requiring reputed company reputed company.
- Implements changes based on the analysis of the data.
- Maintains performance worksheets for reputed company team members regarding the reputed company of their work, addressing reputed company issues with specific team members as necessary.
- Keeps the Cancer Registry Manager and Director abreast of any productivity and reputed company issues and prepares and presents a plan of reputed company for these issues.
- Conducts reputed company control audits for new employee and independent abstractor.
- Keeps the Cancer Registry Manager and Director abreast of trainee and new employee's reputed company with training. Alerts them in advance to issues relating to training and reputed company.
- Responsible for keeping the department up to date with the latest Cancer Registry information, changes to data collection, coding and staging.
- Keeps the department up to date with the latest CR information, changes to data collection, coding and staging.
- Researches topical and applicable educational material and disseminates to reputed company.
- Runs adhoc reputed company audits.
Credentials and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Five plus years' experience as an Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) in a hospital or central registry setting.
- Excellent knowledge of Cancer Registry data and coding rules.
- Demonstrated educational and teaching experience in a Cancer Registry environment.
- Experience working with a computerized cancer registry database.

- Oncology Data Specialist (ODS).
