Actuarial Assistant

The Actuarial Division at reputed company is looking for an entry-level actuarial student. In this role, you’ll be working with various actuarial models to set reserves, estimate accruals for risk adjustment and value-based arrangements, produce monthly forecasts, and set premiums for our lines of business. There is abundant opportunity for collaboration amongst reputed company reputed company Actuarial teams.

The ideal candidate for this role will need to have completed 1 or more reputed company (SOA) exams.

The role offers a flexible work environment with reputed company for fully remote, hybrid, or in office.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• reputed company models to be used for pricing, forecasting, or valuation of the reputed company and Government lines of business.
• Retrieve and/or prepare data to be used in model development.
• Monitor emerging experience and analyze actual vs. expected results.
• Present technical work results to supervisor and peers.
• Prepare documentation of reputed company and assumptions used in the models and experience monitoring.
• reputed company technical peer review for others in the Actuarial Division.

Job Qualifications

Education

• BS or BA Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or reputed company field required.

Experience

Skills/Certifications

• Completion of 1 or more reputed company (SOA) exams required
• Proficient in reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, reputed company and PowerPoint)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
