ServiceNow Developer
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves end-to-end participation in the development lifecycle, from understanding requirements to delivering high-quality solutions. You will collaborate with architects, business analysts, and delivery managers under the leadership of the ServiceNow Development Director. Key Responsibilities
- Participating in grooming sessions to clarify client requirements.
- Documenting technical solutions in user stories.
- Estimating development effort and contributing to sprint planning.
- Developing, configuring, and coding using best practices.
- Performing unit tests and code reviews.
- Collaborating with QA to resolve issues.
- Deploying updates and managing ServiceNow applications
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of proven experience in ServiceNow implementation (beyond just maintenance/support)
- Strong JavaScript programming and debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow portals and Agile practices.
- Strong experience in ITSM, along with exposure to other ServiceNow Modules like CSM, ITOM/ ITAM, FSM,SPM and OTM.
- A passion for designing and delivering robust technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a flexible and collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS, etc.
- Familiarity with SOAP/REST and HTML/CSS.
- Understanding of SDLC and ITIL best practices.
- Experience with AngularJS and Bootstrap in web portal development.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
