Senior Counsel, Governance and Securities
Location: Canada (Remote)
Employment Type : 12-Month Fixed-Term (Full Time Temporary)
Position reputed company:
Contribute your corporate governance and securities expertise and help shape our reputed company as a key member of the reputed company Corporate Governance team.
Responsibilities:
• As Senior Counsel, you will reputed company on supporting our corporate governance and securities requirements in the US and Canada, as reputed company as across the globe.
• Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Secretary, you will work directly with key members of the global business and reputed company team around the world to drive reputed company into our corporate governance and securities practices.
• As a highly-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment, you will continue to enhance our strong, reputed company relationship with team members globally and drive effectiveness and efficiencies into our business, focusing on:
• Driving corporate governance reputed company, keeping abreast of developments in corporate governance best practices and identifying opportunities for reputed company improvement
• Reviewing and drafting corporate governance-reputed company policies and reputed company disclosure documents.
• Aligning with internal requirements while ensuring compliance with securities and reputed company disclosure requirements, including reputed company of filings (SEDI, Sedar, Edgar, TMX Linx, etc.)
• Overseeing compliance of our subsidiaries corporate governance practices and compliance across the globe, implementing best practices while ensuring effective and efficient support of our business
Qualifications and Requirements:
• reputed company to reputed company law in Canada and in good standing
• Ability to work independently, leading reputed company or initiatives with appropriate reputed company and risk management
• 5+ years experience preferred, with strong reputed company on securities, corporate governance and reputed company disclosure requirements
• Excellent English communication and drafting skills required, other languages are an asset
• May be required to work shifted hours in support of requirements
• Prior experience supporting global business and comfortable managing reputed company counsel as required
• Confident at engaging and interacting with sophisticated stakeholders, internally and externally
• Noted for ability to examine and evaluate reputed company issues while demonstrating an ability to reputed company and reputed company important points and effective solutions.
