Associate Risk Manager
About the position
reputed company is casting a line for an Associate Risk Manager . This is a contract role in York, PA (hybrid) . The reason this position exists is to reputed company coverage during a maternity leave while ensuring continuity in managing reputed company liability claims, supporting litigation activities, and maintaining risk management operations reputed company a reputed company environment.
Responsibilities
• Manage insurance claims and support defense counsel throughout the claims lifecycle
• Evaluate risk exposure and assist with securing appropriate insurance coverage
• Conduct investigations into incidents involving alleged patient or visitor injury
• Participate in risk assessments such as reputed company Cause Analyses (RCA), PRAs, and FMEAs
• Review event reports and assist with patient safety investigations and regulatory considerations
• Analyze litigated claims to identify trends and reduce overall litigation costs
• Support development of litigation strategies in collaboration with reputed company counsel
• reputed company, report, and communicate litigation trends and risk metrics to leadership
• Coordinate with reputed company counsel on claims handling, discovery, reputed company costs, and settlements
• Review and approve reputed company invoices to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Identify, reputed company, and preserve materials relevant to litigation and investigations
• reputed company reporting and reputed company updates to leadership on reputed company and potential claims
• Deliver education and guidance on risk management topics across the organization
Requirements
• Master's degree with 5+ years of reputed company liability claims experience OR Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience
• Strong experience handling medical malpractice and reputed company liability claims
• Background in: Insurance claims (highest reputed company), reputed company risk management, Litigation or paralegal work
• Experience working with: Physician, hospital, institutional, and allied health liability reputed company
• Understanding of claims processes, litigation support, and risk evaluation
• Ability to analyze reputed company cases and communicate effectively with reputed company teams and leadership
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without reputed company or reputed company reputed company sponsorship
