Smartsheet is looking for a learning professional to join our team as a Learning Experience Designer. As a Learning Experience Designer, you'll put our customers above all else and have a passion for creating innovative learning solutions. You'll work on a motivated, collaborative, and supportive team with ownership over our customer-facing eLearning products. Strong graphic design skills and knowledge of human-computer interaction is essential and of course becoming a proficient Smartsheet user is essential to your success.

This essential role is part of the Support team and will report directly to the Manager of eLearning Experience.
You Will:
• Design and develop creative, customer-centric, performance-based, accessible, and ADA compliant eLearning products
• Work collaboratively with our instructor-led training team, credentials program manager, and subject matter experts (SME) to create storyboards, scripts, and production-ready content
• Manage learning product development lifecycle, manage SMEs, and deliver products on time, every time
• Facilitate collaboration, support, and approval from a variety of cross-functional stakeholders for eLearning products
• Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and create learning products that meet those needs
• Analyze learning data and recommend strategies to improve engagement, increase quality, and suggest new learning product offerings
• Contribute to and improve our eLearning playbook and style guides
• Stay current on new learning approaches, behavioral science, technology, and tools and apply that knowledge to our learning products
• Serve as a learning management system (LMS) administrator and maintain systems, create user profiles, create usage reports, and publish SCORM, video, and other digital content
• Become a Smartsheet product expert
You Have:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years experience in instructional design and developing learning content
• An eLearning portfolio demonstrating your ability to solve real business and customer problems using your strong graphic design skills, technical writing skills, attention to detail, and a sophisticated and clean aesthetic
• You have extensive portfolio of learning products
• Proficiency using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise (or similar eLearning authoring software)
• Proficiency using Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Slides, etc.) or Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Experience using TechSmith Camtasia (or similar video editing software), Adobe Photoshop (or similar photo editing software) and/or Adobe Audition (or similar audio editing software)
• Experience scoping, designing, prototyping, testing, building, and launching digital training
• Experience planning and analyzing data-driven learning experiences using SCORM or xAPI data
• Experience with web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts in a SaaS company
• Experience managing and reporting on all curriculum and assessment data
• Experience with LMS administration, including eLearning publishing and learning assessments
