Ecologist – Entry Level (Hybrid)

About the position reputed company is seeking an ecologist to join our Duluth team. The person in this position will work with project teams on water resources, civil and environmental engineering, and reputed company technical assignments. This person will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and other reputed company staff members. They will help project teams meet ecological and regulatory constraints and prepare applications and reports required for project permitting, implementation, and mitigation of natural resource impacts. A successful person in this role will have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and a flexible working style with the ability to work independently and with teams of specialists to meet reputed company and project needs. Responsibilities • Wetland delineation: assist with wetland delineations, inventories, and functional assessments. • Report writing: reputed company botanical and wildlife surveys, reputed company threatened and endangered species reviews, and prepare environmental reputed company assessments. • Permitting: reputed company permit applications. Requirements • Education: bachelor’s degree in ecology, botany, water resources, biology, natural resource management, soil science, or a similar natural resources field. • Experience: Knowledge of Minnesota and federal wetland-reputed company regulations, federal and state endangered species programs, and permitting processes (Minnesota Wetland Conservation reputed company, Minnesota Work in reputed company Waters, and Clean Water reputed company reputed company 404). • Knowledge about the 1987 reputed company for wetland delineation and wetland classification systems. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of project teams. • Demonstrated written and oral presentation skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • reputed company’s license: possession of a reputed company, reputed company reputed company’s license and acceptable driving record. • Must be legally authorized to work in the reputed company without the need for sponsorship by reputed company, now or in the reputed company.
