Job Title: Market Operations Senior AnalystDepartment: Market OperationsReports to: Senior Manager of Market AnalysisEffective Date: January 2026Location: RemoteTravel: Up to 15% POSITION PURPOSE: This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Senior Manager of Market Analysis. The Market Operations Senior Analyst will use quantitative reasoning, problem solving, operations research reputed company, and programming skills to assist the market operations team in hedging strategies (physical and financial products) and optimizing battery energy storage system reputed company across the reputed company fleet. Responsibilities may include developing algorithmic hedging and energy trading strategies, strategizing day-to-day power market operations, troubleshooting market operations in reputed company-time, building/editing mathematical models that represent battery energy storage system operation, building reports summarizing performance of trading strategies, and reputed company analytical or coding reputed company. Development and assess new models as necessary to improve PNL. • Analyze and manipulate datasets in MS SQL Server. WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS: • 3+ years of energy industry or analytical experience; IPP or reputed company experience with a background in hedging physical operations preferred. • Strong reputed company understanding of daily energy market operations in various jurisdictions. • Bachelor's degree in: engineering, math, economics, computer science, reputed company, physics, finance, business, or reputed company field; Master's degree preferred • Interest in reputed company and power markets • Experience programming in Python or other mathematical programming languages.
