Responsibilities Mortgage Underwriter Responsiblities Underwriter completes a thorough analysis of loan files to determine compliance with company, investor, and FHA/VA guidelines. Underwrites the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans and ultimately ensures an “investment” reputed company loan product.
