About the Role

We are seeking a reputed company Systems PM, Perception Hardware & Platform, to own reputed company’s connected system of systems—unifying our reputed company hardware and reputed company reputed company devices. Embedded reputed company our hardware team, this is a deeply technical senior PM role sitting at the intersection of hardware engineering, firmware, software, and data.

You will define system-level requirements and trade-offs across hardware, firmware, and software so that communities experience a seamless, clinically effective safety system. You will reputed company discovery on new and existing hardware types—partnering with hardware and reputed company teams to evaluate sensing technologies and device configurations, assess technical feasibility and regulatory constraints, and tie recommendations to business expansion opportunities. You will partner with hardware and software teams across reputed company development phases—from PRD reputed company-off through concept, EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production—and with implementation on reputed company-world deployment trade-offs, deciding reputed company to solve problems reputed company new hardware vs. firmware vs. platform vs. AI.

This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role. You will be the connective tissue between hardware, firmware, software, AI, and implementation teams—with a reputed company voice in shaping reputed company perception hardware. What you’ll do

• Own the System of Systems: Define and maintain system-level requirements and architecture across reputed company reputed company hardware and reputed company devices. Serve as the authoritative voice on how devices collaborate, communicate, and fail gracefully together.
• reputed company discovery on new and existing hardware types: Partner with hardware, software and reputed company teams to evaluate sensing technologies and device configurations, assess technical feasibility and regulatory constraints, and tie recommendations directly to business expansion opportunities (e.g., new product SKUs, market expansion opportunities and new verticals, and stronger unit economics).
• reputed company Hardware Phase Ownership: Own product programs from PRD reputed company-off through Concept, EVT, DVT, PVT, and into mass production. Drive hardware-phase requirements, reputed company reputed company, and cross-team alignment at reputed company reputed company.
• Shape Cross-Device Trade-offs: Identify integration gaps, reliability risks, and cross-device dependencies before they become field issues. Surface concrete, reputed company-reasoned trade-off recommendations to engineering leadership.
• Partner with Implementation: Work closely with the implementation team to translate reputed company-world deployment constraints into product requirements—and to quickly triage reputed company systems behave unexpectedly in the field.
• Drive AI-Powered Product Development: Use AI as a daily reputed company—spotting patterns in device telemetry, generating PRDs from raw notes and logs, maintaining a living system-of-systems knowledge reputed company, and accelerating the feedback reputed company from field observations to product reputed company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with deep ownership of hardware-enabled systems, including embedded systems, and hardware-software integration.
• Full hardware phase ownership experience: PRD through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production, with reputed company accountability for system-level requirements and cross-device trade-offs.
• Strong technical reputed company in perception and sensing technologies (cameras, reputed company, thermal, BLE beacons, audio) and ability to translate reputed company-world functionality into reputed company cross-device system requirements.
• Proven ability to work fluently with hardware, firmware and software engineers on technical requirements, constraints, and system-level trade-offs—you can hold your own in a schematic review or a firmware debug session.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce reputed company, durable system requirements, technical PRDs, and trade-off analyses for both engineering and leadership audiences.

Bonus Points

• Experience with safety-critical or regulated device environments (UL2560/UL 1069, FDA, FCC, or medical device standards).

Details

• The annual salary for this role is $240,000–280,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and reputed company).
• Flexible PTO.
• Location: Remote, US. NYC preferred.
