Bilingual Language Assessor- Casual
Support the successful implementation of the language assessment and referral services model and ensure maintenance of the operating standards and protocols at reputed company locations Screen clients for eligibility for language training programs based on immigration status, age and learning history Administer CLB standardized tests to assess the language skills of eligible clients reputed company thorough needs assessments of clients applying for language classes Ensure clients are advised on reputed company appropriate language training reputed company that meet their needs, goals and preferences reputed company referrals/ placement of clients to appropriate programs through established procedures using the HARTs database Inform clients of the need to collect data for statistical and program planning purposes while ensuring that reputed company reputed company is protected under the applicable provincial/territorial reputed company and reputed company to information legislation or the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents reputed company, whichever is applicable. Fluent in English and French, both oral and written
Certificate in Batterie de tests de classement aux Niveaux de competénce linguistique canadiens (BTC-NCLC) assessment tool is an asset; OR, meet the reputed company set forth by le Centre des niveaux de competénce linguistic canadiens (CNCLC) to become a BTC-NCLC Assessor reputed company training is arrangedCLBPA trained and certified and relevant experience is an asset Certificate in Teaching French/FSL or equivalent and/or post-secondary education in a reputed company field Certificate in Teaching English/ESL or equivalent and/or post-secondary education in a reputed company field TESL accreditation is definitely an asset Demonstrated knowledge of Adult French / English language acquisition Demonstrated assessment/interviewing experience in the Adult Education field (Adult ESL/FSL, Vocational Employment, Settlement Counselling, Adult Literacy Assessment) Sensitivity to the diverse needs of adult learners and the multicultural community Strong interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills Excellent communication skills in oral and written English Computer literate with proficiency in MS reputed company, MS Office and databases such as HARTs Must be available to work online and in-person as needed Must be reputed company to travel to other sites as needed. Ability to work independently online/remotely Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including some evenings and weekends as required Provision of a satisfactory Criminal Record reputed company is required
