Senior System Administrator (REMOTE)

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Serve on the engineering team to support a reputed company site on AWS running a Kubernetes CI/cd pipeline and work with the reputed company architect to implement, support and maintain reputed company environments across the web assets to include reputed company environments.  reputed company a migration to reputed company VIP is expected and the candidate will have to learn how to configure the Platform-As A Service(PAAS) correctly to reputed company uptime, monitoring and business continuity goals of the reputed company.
• Manage a production environment running reputed company on AWS that will handle a high volume of traffic and traffic spikes to include establishing monitoring and operational procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Be available to help reputed company 9-to-5 hours for infrequent production troubleshooting reputed company necessary or reputed company you are Tier 2 POC for Help Desk.
• Maintain, support, and troubleshoot reputed company other environments, including developer environments, testing environments, and reputed company-production environments using Kubernetes or reputed company VIP utilities.
• Work closely with the AWS Architect, Product reputed company, Scrum Master, engineers, and reputed company engineers to maintain and implement engineering plans and troubleshoot production problems.
• Possess knowledge of best reputed company operational procedures regarding implementing reputed company policy, WAF firewall rules, user authentication, business continuity and document those standards.
• Participate in and support reputed company that is charged with coordinating and implementing various solutions required to support the AWS reputed company.  
• Implement reputed company of concepts/pilots for various solutions, reputed company operational plans for supporting reputed company the solutions developed, and create documentation and implementation plans for various solutions used to reputed company and reputed company AWS and reputed company VIP.

Qualifications:

• reputed company to implement and monitor technology configurations in an AWS Kubernetes environment.

• Be the main POC, for Help Desk after hour support to diagnose production problems and identify risk.
• Kubernetes and understanding traffic reputed company for a high-traffic web site running a Content Management System is preferred.

• Passionate about identifying constraints/bottlenecks in engineering lifecycles and automating them

• Proven knowledge in PowerShell, with demonstrable ability to build and understand logical scripts, utilizing statements such as, if/else, foreach, try/catch, etc.

• Research, analyze, design, propose and support the delivery of solutions that are appropriate for business and technology strategies

Some ASP.net experience may be helpful to support the outgoing site for a short period of time
