Software Development Intern (Madison, AL, US, 35758)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Development Intern that will contribute to the development and implementation of unit tests for Smart 3D modules, our flagship engineering design product. The project focuses on improving software reliability and testing automation with the support of artificial intelligence tools.

This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing automation, C# development, and AI-assisted coding techniques while contributing to a major industrial software product used worldwide. You will work within a large organization using an Agile development process, collaborating with experienced developers and engineers while contributing directly to the quality and robustness of the product.

• Develop and implement unit tests for Smart 3D modules, including:
• • Rule Configuration
    • Create and maintain a defined number of automated tests.
    • Explore and implement AI-assisted approaches for automated test creation.
  • Plant Structure
    • Create and maintain a defined number of automated tests.
    • Utilize AI tools to support automated unit test generation and validation.
• Collaborate with the development team in an Agile environment to improve code quality and test coverage.
• Document testing procedures, results, and improvements.

Education / Qualifications

• Experience with C# programming.
• Interest in or experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Basic understanding of software testing or unit testing principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a large Agile development team.
