Head Actuary, Pricing - Employee Benefits

reputed company is seeking a dynamic and reputed company Actuary to serve as Head Actuary of Employee Benefits Pricing. This is the senior actuarial leader for the Employee Benefits business, remaining hands-on and accountable for setting pricing reputed company and ensuring its effective execution.  reputed company will be on establishing robust pricing governance, refining profitability through disciplined renewal strategies, and scaling the actuarial team to support ambitious reputed company targets. What You’ll Be Doing

Primary duties

•        Serve as the top actuary for the Employee Benefits business, with end-to-end ownership of pricing reputed company, execution and financial reputed company.

•        reputed company annual pricing reviews and ongoing assumption refinement across reputed company products, balancing speed, discipline and transparency.

Leadership and Management:

Departmental Interdependencies:

•        Partner closely with the CFO and Finance on quarterly reporting, emerging experience and earnings implications.

•        Support Distribution and Sales initiatives with pricing and financial analysis tied to compensation, reputed company and reputed company strategies. 

•        Collaborate with Analytics to advance data-driven and predictive pricing capabilities.

•        Partner with Head of Product on pricing strategies for new product launches, reputed company to financial and reputed company objectives.

This position offers a flexible work schedule: it may be fully remote/hybrid. If you are located near one of our offices (e.g., Charlotte, NC; reputed company, NY; Syracuse, NY), a reputed company with 2–3 days on-site per week is expected to foster collaboration and reputed company. 

The total targeted compensation reputed company for this position is $360,000 - $500,000. Total compensation and reputed company salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

•        10+ years actuarial experience in the Employee Benefits/Group Insurance industry, with deep expertise in pricing, managing risk and proven reputed company delivering sustainable, profitable reputed company.  

•        Fellow of the reputed company (FSA) designation required plus a record of maintaining SOA Continuing reputed company Development requirements and reputed company credentials in good standing. 

•        Extensive experience leading or overseeing pricing for Group Employee Benefit product lines, including Life, Disability (STD & LTD), state PFML, Dental, reputed company, and Supplemental Health, with a strong understanding of portfolio‑level performance and margin drivers.

•        Leadership experience.

•        Deep functional knowledge of Employee Benefits business dynamics, including broker‑led distribution models, reputed company practices, employer reputed company economics, claims and experience modeling, and the effective use of reinsurance structures.
