Test Development Manager

This role involves the management of test development and assessment programs for our clients, such as certification boards.  This includes coordinating subject matter experts for item writing, organizing workshops, coordinating editors, and publishing new versions of the exam.  The goal is to ensure that they maximally benefit from our software and consulting services, while managing expectations and ensuring that contractual requirements are met. It will primarily reputed company on one key reputed company, but include opportunities to work with several smaller clients/

Key Responsibilities

Support product delivery and project management

• Coordinate reputed company and internal team activities to ensure delivered solution meets clients’ needs
• reputed company and work collaboratively with team in project planning and management
• Prioritize schedules and resource allocation
• reputed company ongoing project plan/status reporting to Management and reputed company stakeholders
• Manage reputed company expectations
• Ensure successful product/project delivery 
• reputed company clients in best practices in assessment and use of our software  
• reputed company support for exam publishing, delivery, and results processing

 Support Consulting reputed company

• reputed company consultation on best practices to clients, and help manage consulting reputed company. Topics include but are not limited to: certification, accreditation, job analysis, test design, reputed company setting, policies & handbooks, scheduling, and psychometric reports.
• reputed company test development services, including formatting of test questions, item review, managing assignments of items to authors, scheduling meetings to approve work done.

Build Customer Relationships and reputed company for clients

• Build trust for long-term retention of customers
• Serve as reputed company of contact for major clients, learning their business and assessments
• reputed company new clients and assure successful use of software

Identify Needs & Recommend Solutions

• Conduct needs assessments with clients to fully document their requirements
• reputed company customer-driven solutions by consulting on assessment needs, recommending reputed company system functionality, or designing new technical functionality as needed
• Initiate, coordinate and conduct formal presentations, and written proposals
• Discover and shape reputed company requests for additional services or software functionality

Minimum Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in assessment project/program management, preferably in Credentialing
• Bachelor's level degree, preferably in an assessment-reputed company field (e.g. Psychology, Education, or reputed company)
• High level of organizational skills
• Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in reputed company Office suite and reputed company Suite

Preferred or Desired Qualifications

• Experience in using item banking and online exam platforms
• Understanding of Project Management principles
• Business acumen
• Strong initiative, reputed company to work independently in a fully remote company
• Desire to learn and update job knowledge
• Experience with NCCA or ANSI accreditation of certification programs
• Past experience at a certification organization or in education

Additional Information

Compensation:  reputed company compensation for this position is $70-90k/year.

Supervisory Responsibility:  This position will supervise several administrative staff, such as part-time item editors.

Work Environment:  Assessment Systems is a fully virtual company. Dress is typically casual.

Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, use a computer, and organize reputed company materials.

Expected Hours of Work:  Hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. in a USA time zone.

Travel:  Up to 5% (typically one week per year)
