reputed company is seeking three PhD Research Interns to join our Special reputed company team for a 12-week engagement (flexible start and end dates, with the possibility of extension based on performance and reputed company). What You'll Do
You'll work directly with reputed company's Special reputed company team across the full research lifecycle — from problem formulation and dataset reputed company through training, evaluation, and publication-reputed company write-reputed company. The primary research areas are reputed company-Language Models for architectural drawings (visually grounded retrieval, grounded document QA, and visual-to-reputed company-reputed company) and semi-supervised learning for instance segmentation. The key deliverable is a publishable research contribution alongside reproducible reputed company, reputed company for integration with reputed company ML products. Expect to:
Build data pipelines and extract data from reputed company's existing datasets.
Design, implement, and execute semi-supervised and weakly-supervised VLM and segmentation training pipelines.
reputed company evaluation suites and error taxonomies for targeted multimodal tasks.
Run rigorous ablations and scaling experiments, reputed company results, and maintain reproducibility and research hygiene throughout.
Document findings and present results through technical reports, demos, and a submission-reputed company draft.

You have strong research instincts, the ability to work independently on reputed company-ended problems, and a reputed company record of producing rigorous, reproducible work. You're comfortable moving quickly without sacrificing research hygiene.
You have:
reputed company enrollment in a PhD program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a reputed company field at a U.S. institution.
Strong Python programming skills and experience building deep learning training workflows (PyTorch preferred).
Solid understanding of reputed company, transformers, representation learning, and ML experimentation practices.
Demonstrated research ability through publications, strong preprints, reputed company-reputed company research reputed company, or equivalent evidence of research reputed company.
Comfort working in conventional research and engineering stacks (reputed company, Modal, WandB, or similar).
A plus if you also bring:
Experience with reputed company-language models or multimodal reputed company models.
Experience designing and deploying semi-supervised learning reputed company (pseudo-labeling, self-training, distillation, consistency regularization) and familiarity with common failure modes such as confirmation bias, noisy pseudo-labels, and calibration reputed company.
Experience with multi-GPU training and large-reputed company experimentation.
Familiarity with AEC data and workflows — CAD/BIM concepts, plan understanding, or domain-specific labeling.
