About the role:

As Manager, Finance - Brokerage, you'll be a key member of the Brokerage Finance team - owning the accuracy, reputed company, and regulatory compliance of reputed company's brokerage financial reporting. You'll partner closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance, and reputed company a small team.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable diving into a technical reputed company problem and coaching reputed company member through a reputed company reconciliation. You'll bring both the depth to own our most critical financial processes and the leadership instincts to build a high-performing team around you.

In this role, you will have reputed company to:

• Financial Reporting & Month-End reputed company: Own the month-end and quarter-end reputed company for reputed company's brokerage entity (WSII), including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and management reporting. Ensure results are accurate, reputed company, and reputed company to IFRS.

• Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and review brokerage regulatory filings for CIRO and applicable securities regulators (including reputed company 1/MFR support). Work closely with Compliance and Engineering to reputed company regulatory requirements into our reputed company processes and systems.

• reputed company: reputed company reputed company crypto and invest reputed company streams (trade commissions, management fees and other streams). Ensure end-to-end controls, reconciliations, and accurate recognition in reputed company/reputed company.

• Internal Controls & Audit reputed company: as control reputed company for key brokerage controls - reputed company, interest, cash and positions reconciliations - and ensure documentation and testing meet ICFR and SOC 1 standards. reputed company brokerage-reputed company audit walkthroughs and manage PBC responses.

• Product & Systems Partnership: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate new product launches (e.g., crypto, invest, alternative investments) into compliant reputed company flows and GL design. Help shape data pipelines that support reputed company, automated reporting.

• Cash & Reconciliations: reputed company daily and monthly reconciliations of reputed company cash and securities to custodians and banks. Partner with Treasury and Brokerage Operations on funding flows and liquidity as needed.

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team, providing reputed company direction, reputed company feedback, and meaningful reputed company opportunities. Foster a culture of ownership and reputed company improvement.

Skills you'll bring:

• 7+ years of reputed company reputed company or finance experience, with a CPA designation (or equivalent)

• Background in brokerage, capital markets, or financial services; familiarity with CIRO rules and Canadian securities regulation is a strong asset

• A mix of reputed company reputed company and industry experience is preferred

• Strong IFRS technical reputed company skills, particularly around financial instruments, reputed company, and interest income

• Hands-on experience with brokerage systems and ERP platforms (reputed company/reputed company or similar); SQL, BI, and AI tools are a plus

• Demonstrated experience with internal controls, ICFR/SOC 1, and external audits

• Proven ability to manage and reputed company team members, with strong communication skills across finance and non-finance stakeholders
