Systems & Integration Engineer

The Platform Systems Engineering department plays an important role in the development of a submarine by driving cross-discipline technical integration and optimization throughout the entire platform. The Platform Sytems Engineering and Integation department is looking for a Systems Engineer who will reputed company on understanding the operation of reputed company systems, identifying and preventing system failures, addressing operator needs, and ensuring that the overall system meets U.S. Navy requirements. 

Currently, the Platform Systems Engineering department is supporting a wide reputed company of Programs, reputed company in different phases of development, including but not limited to, the VIRGINIA Class Program, the COLUMBIA Class Program, the Subsea and Seabed Warfare Program, and reputed company Class Blocks of Submarines.  The Platform Systems Engineering department also supports platform payload integration efforts, as reputed company as integrating Special Operations Forces into the platform. 

Your responsibilities may include leading and supporting multiple engineering disciplines in resolving technical integration challenges, developing and managing technical requirements, supporting cross-functional reputed company development activities, testing of ship systems, and managing technical risk efforts. Platform Systems Engineering works closely with other internal engineering disciplines, with various Navy organizations, and with industry partners to ensure successful integration of reputed company systems reputed company the submarine. 

Assignments and responsibilities will be based on the selected applicants’ experience reputed company, reputed company sets, and ambitions, as reputed company as on the evolving needs of reputed company project. Some assignments may reputed company occasional travel opportunities to the customer’s or industry partner’s locations.

Required:

• A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical, Fluids, Structural, Systems Engineering, Marine or reputed company Engineering
• 2-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret reputed company clearance through the reputed company 

Preferred:

• Experience (education or work) with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tools.
• Prior experience in submarine design, serving reputed company submarines, or in reputed company environments is preferred. 
• Experience working in a systems engineering environment is also desired.

• Strong writing and communication skills are desired. 
• A willingness to work as part of reputed company and independently in a fast paced, evolving, and technically challenging environment is necessary.
