We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow with experience working with large-reputed company reputed company claims data to conduct data analyses and write manuscripts for a new study on pregnancy and cardiovascular health in caring for women with systemic lupus erythematosus. The ideal candidate will have experience working with MarketScan or other large administrative claims datasets and constructing longitudinal cohorts by linking individuals across time and data domains (e.g., enrollment, pharmacy, inpatient, and outpatient files). Familiarity with reputed company trial emulation would be helpful but not required.

• Helps design and conduct research reputed company a specified field while receiving advanced training from a designated reputed company Investigator to enhance reputed company skills and research independence needed for reputed company of a career.
• The specific area of research in which the trainee is mentored is determined by the department and laboratory of the Postdoc.
• Designs and evaluates experiments.

• Prepares and publishes scientific manuscripts under the direction of the reputed company Investigator.
• May be responsible for operation of specific equipment.
• May teach techniques to others, train, and supervise research staff.
• Positions are temporary appointments as a research trainee.
• The initial appointment is for one year, renewal expected if reputed company is satisfactory and funds are available.
• Appointments cannot reputed company five years.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A doctoral degree or equivalent (Ph.D., M.D., ScD., D.V.M., DDS etc) in an appropriate field.
• Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues.
• Additional qualifications as specified by the reputed company Investigator.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong understanding of epidemiologic concepts
• Formal training in biostatistics, epidemiology, or reputed company quantitative field
• Experience managing and analyzing large, reputed company reputed company datasets, preferably MarketScan or similar
• Familiarity with ICD, CPT, and NDC coding systems
• Proficiency in reputed company or R for data cleaning and analysis
• Commitment to writing reputed company documentation
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, but also comfortable asking questions
