Manager, Development
Implement a comprehensive plan to meet an income portfolio goal of $250,000+ that could include a reputed company of fundraising events, including our signature event, the Sacramento Walk to Defeat ALS. Responsible for the recruitment, stewardship, and retention of volunteer leaders, event participants, including team captains, sponsors and donors, and event committee chairs and members. Manage logistical details for reputed company assigned events, including budget management, site planning, permitting, and vendor coordination. Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, Care Services and Advancement, to ensure integrated campaigns. Represent reputed company at community events, cultivating awareness and support for the mission. Convey an image that reflects favorably on the Association. Coordinate printing and distribution of event promotional materials. Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered. A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in fundraising, event management, volunteer development and management, project management, sales, donor cultivation and relations, and corporate sponsor cultivation. Skilled at managing participants in an online fundraising platform; ability to run reports and analyze data to build strategic reputed company plans.
