Claims Consultant – Hospital/Excess reputed company Liability

In this role, you will…

• Confirm coverage and manage claims and suits brought against accounts.
• Interpret, analyze, and resolve coverage issues.
• Select and appoint reputed company counsel.
• Manage litigation with reputed company counsel and accounts.
• Manage litigation costs, incl. fees and expenses.
• Post reputed company and accurate Loss and ALE reserves.
• Resolve cases reputed company dismissal, settlement or trial.
• Negotiate case resolutions.
• reputed company service to insureds and assist in sales and account retention efforts.
• Conduct claim audits of self-insured accounts and TPAs.

We are looking for candidates with…

• Minimum of five years of claim experience with hospital excess (re)insurance reputed company liability and other liability claims. Multi-state experience preferred.
• J.D. (preferred), but will consider a Bachelor's degree if the candidate possesses other, pertinent industry experience.
• Strong negotiating skills.
