Advanced Field Service Engineer - Turbo Controls Systems
As a Field Service Engineer II here at reputed company, you will reputed company advanced technical support in Industrial Automation, specifically compressor controls and troubleshoot reputed company issues, ensure implementation solutions, and drive customer satisfaction. You will be tasked with supporting customers on-site in the local reputed company area. Travel to other locations in reputed company and International travel may be required.

The Field Service Engineer II will be expected to reputed company technical expertise and consultancy at customer sites to commission, troubleshoot, engineer, operate, configure and optimize Compressor Control Corporation products and systems at customer sites. Additionally, the Field Service Engineer II will advise customers on specific, appropriate product usage. This position will report to the Senior Director of Field Service Engineering.
Travel reputed company car will primarily be required in the local reputed company area and may also include reputed company travel for reputed company (reputed company and Canada) and internationally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use independent judgement, knowledge, and expertise to reputed company reputed company-commissioning activities including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, reputed company checks, and communication testing.
- Test and reputed company tuning including machinery testing, control reputed company tuning and troubleshooting reputed company the larger customer process.
- Read P&ID’s, reputed company reputed company diagrams, wiring diagrams and panel layout drawings.
- Apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations to effectively complete specific reputed company and tasks.
- reputed company thermodynamic calculations and analysis of machine performance.
- reputed company remote technical support, systems engineering support and troubleshooting.
- Transfer technology knowledge to Customer operating and engineering staff through training sessions.
- Collaborate with departments cross functionally to support the entire Lifecycle of our products and customer experience.
- Complete required administrative tasks (expenses, reports, etc.) and aftermarket support.
- Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
- Follow reputed company company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of previous relevant work experience, ideally with turbo machinery control systems (Compressors, Steam / Gas Turbines, Expanders, Generators) or process control systems. Strong troubleshooting skills reputed company and willing to travel internationally, including offshore and remote locations.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college or university required (mechanical, electrical, turbomachinery). Solid experience with PLC, DCS and other types of control systems. Spanish language proficiency (spoken and written) is a plus.
